Snap enables CCTV operators to track targets from camera to camera around even the largest CCTV networks.

Snap automatically works out how the field of view of a camera overlaps with another camera, or is close by. It does this for every camera on the network. So now if you want to follow an incident from camera to camera, Snap tells you where to go next. You don't need to have any local knowledge of where cameras are. No matter how many cameras – even thousands – using Snap makes it easy. So now you can move with speed and certainty to follow someone around a network.

WHY IS SNAP IMPORTANT IN AN EMERGENCY?

  • In a high profile security environment, a real emergency is a stressful time.
  • It is vital that CCTV operators are efficient and effective.
  • Managing hundreds of potential camera images is potentially highly confusing.
  • Snap de-risks those critical times by providing simple, logical and comprehensive support.

HOW DOES SNAP WORK TO ENHANCE YOUR SECURITY?

  • Snap turns a collection of hundreds of unrelated cameras into a fast and powerful network.
  • Snap understands how each camera is supported by adjacent cameras to create network coverage.
  • Snap knows which cameras can view a given target.
  • Snap ensures that operators can focus on tracking a target from camera to camera.
ENABLING TEAMWORK
Snap helps operators work together in a co-ordinated fashion to contain incidents. Teams can share video pursuits while they are in progress. They can also hand over a pursuit to another team member, if for example two targets decide to split up from each other, then a second operator can immediately assist with tracking.
